If you apply for merchant processing, POS financing, lending-related services, or other financial products, we may collect information required by banks, processors, sponsors, gateways, vendors, lenders, or compliance partners. This may include ownership information, identification information, tax information, bank account details, financial statements, processing statements, credit-related information, and other underwriting or risk-related details.

Payment Processors, Acquiring Banks, Sponsor Banks, ISOs, Gateways, and Card Network-Related Parties
We may share information necessary to submit applications, underwrite accounts, process transactions, manage risk, support accounts, investigate disputes, and comply with payment industry requirements.

POS, Software, Hardware, Integration, and Technology Vendors
We may share information needed to deploy, configure, support, or maintain POS systems, payment devices, software platforms, integrations, network equipment, and related technology services.

Lenders and Financing Partners
If you request lending, financing, or capital-related services, we may share information with lenders, financing partners, brokers, underwriters, or other parties involved in evaluating or providing those services.

Service Providers and Contractors

We use sensitive information only for legitimate business purposes, including merchant onboarding, underwriting, identity verification, account support, risk management, compliance, fraud prevention, billing, and service delivery.

Payco does not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about individuals.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, provide services, support accounts, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, maintain business records, enforce agreements, and protect Payco’s rights.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, legal requirements, banking or processor requirements, card brand obligations, tax obligations, accounting requirements, fraud prevention needs, and operational requirements.

You may opt out of non-essential marketing text messages by replying “STOP,” where applicable. Opting out of marketing messages does not prevent Payco from sending important service, account, billing, support, compliance, or transactional communications.

11. Children’s Privacy

Payco’s website and services are intended for businesses and individuals acting in a business capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.

15. Payment Processing and Merchant Services

Payco works with processors, acquiring banks, sponsor banks, gateways, card networks, ISOs, technology vendors, and other financial service providers. When you apply for or use merchant services, your information may also be subject to the privacy policies, agreements, underwriting rules, compliance requirements, and data practices of those third parties.

Payco is not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third-party processors, banks, lenders, gateways, card networks, or vendors.

16. Business Customers and Authorized Representatives

If you provide information on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to provide that information and to communicate with Payco on behalf of that business.

If you provide information about business owners, officers, employees, authorized users, guarantors, or representatives, you are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to provide that information to Payco.

Payco may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we update it, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above.

This Privacy Policy is intended to describe Payco’s privacy practices. It does not create contractual rights beyond those required by applicable law and does not modify any separate agreement, merchant application, service agreement, processing agreement, equipment agreement, financing agreement, partner agreement, or other contract between you and Payco or any third party.
